WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

Wingate Director of Student-Athlete Development and women's golf coach Erin Thorne: "Her irons were a little off through the first few holes. With them usually being the best part of the game, I think it caught her by surprise. She settled in after a couple good pars on seven and eight."

"A pulled tee shot on 18 prevented her from finishing off the round well. She still has a great attitude knowing that there are two rounds left. She was able to dig herself out of a hole in the fall preview similar to where she stands after today."
