Jefferson City, Tenn.----The third-seeded Lincoln Memorial University Railsplitters jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning Thursday afternoon, prevailing 3-1 in NCAA Division II softball action in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast Regionals. LMU improves to 36-13 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 32-18 on the season. Wingate is back in action Friday, facing Anderson in an elimination game.
