Anderson, S.C.--- The 17th-ranked Anderson University Trojans held the Wingate University Bulldogs to six points in the fourth quarter Wednesday evening en route to a 66-54 in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in the Abney Center. The Trojans improve to 11-2 and 6-1 in conference play, while the Bulldogs fall to 10-4 overall and 4-3 in the SAC.

FIRST QUARTER
- The Trojans jumped out to an early 4-0 lead at the 8:07 mark with two buckets from Alexy Mollenhauer
- The Bulldogs got within two, getting baskets from Ingram and Coleman with 7:24 to go
- At the midway point, Anderson held the 10-4 led off a pair of Mckenzie Gadson free throws

Taylor Blakely got one from the charity stripe to pull Wingate within one
- The Trojans answered with an 8-0 run over two minutes of action
- WU got the final bucket of the frame with an Ingram floater in the final possession of the frame making it 20-13
SECOND QUARTER
- Wingate got on the board first in the second frame with a pair of Clark free throws
- With seven minutes left the Trojans pushed their lead to double digits
- Stephen hit a jumper and Coleman made a pair from the charity stripe to make it 27-21
- At the midway point the Bulldogs went on a 10-0 run
- Coleman scored six in the flurry to give WU a 31-30 lead at the 2:40 mark
- Anderson answered with back-to-back threes to make take a 36-31 advantage
- Free throws from Coleman and Stephen got the 'Dogs within three at halftime
THIRD QUARTER
- Anderson took a 47-39 lead from an Alexis Tate layup with 4:48 to go

Teliyah Jeter's layup with 3 minutes left in the frame cut the lead to four
- At the two-minute mark the Trojans got a Tate layup to make it 50-43
- In the final second the Bulldogs ran an inbound play to Clark for a three to make it 52-48
FOURTH QUARTER
- Wingate got within two on a Clark layup at the 9:37 mark
- Anderson stretched the lead to seven on a Valencia Carroll triple with 7:53 to go
- Wingate got another Clark bucket with just under seven minutes left to cut it to five
- The Bulldogs would get no closer the rest of the way
- AU would finish the game on a 7-0 run
