Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs shot 51 percent from the field Wednesday night, getting 34 points from
Jarren Cottingham in a 98-86 victory over visiting UVA Wise in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate wins its second straight, improving to 2-2 overall and 2-2 in league play. The Bulldogs have scored 201 points in their last two victories. The Cavaliers fall to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in league play.
