Wingate, N.C.----The Anderson University Trojans outscored Wingate University 53-40 in the second half Wednesday night, rallying for a 91-85 road win in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. The Trojans improve to 15-8 overall and 10-7 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 10-13 overall and 6-11 in league play.

- Anderson shot 54 percent from the field, hitting 10-of-29 threes (35 percent)

FIRST HALF
- A Taylor dunk and Cottingham three gave the Bulldogs an early 15-7 lead

- Buckets from Priest and
Vontrez Roberts put the 'Dogs on top by 12 at the 4:46 mark
- A Satchel Hester three-point play got AU within five, but a Nottingham three and Roberts bucket made it 45-36
- A Nottingham jumper at the buzzer cut the lead to seven at 45-38
SECOND HALF
- A Josh Edwards three-point play got the Trojans within three at the 17:51 mark
- Cottingham's three-point play extended the lead back to eight at 54-46
- Mack Burgett pulled the Trojans back within three with 12:57 left, but Dawkins answered with a three
- Anderson used an 8-0 run to take a 70-65 lead, getting threes from Shawn Benard and Crosby James
- Four Sio free throws got the Bulldogs within one with 7:13 left, but two Benard free throws pushed the lead back to five
- A layup and two free throws from Cottingham tied it at 77 with 4:43 to go
- James buried a three to make it a four-point game, while two Crosby free throws at the 1:31 mark made it 88-81
- Sio knocked down two free throws with 58 seconds left to get the 'Dogs within five, but they would get no closer
