St. Augustine, Fla.----The Wingate University Bulldogs wrapped up their Florida trip Sunday afternoon, dropping a pair of contests against Valdosta State and Tampa in NCAA Division II softball action at Flagler College. The 'Dogs fall to 0-6 on the season.

- She tossed seven shutout innings, striking out nine and walking one

FOURTH INNING
- Another Wingate error, along with a Cristina Clauberg sacrifice fly put Tampa on top 7-1
- Hall led off the bottom of the frame with a single, while Polk reached on an error
- Swenson's two-run triple got Wingate within four
SEVENTH INNING
- Maddie Farrell's solo shot gave the Spartans an 8-3 advantage
- Swenson started the bottom of the inning with a single
- Floyd's RBI single made the final margin 8-4

- Galhouse got the win, moving to 2-1
- She allowed three runs on eight hits in four innings, striking out five
- Raechel Cutcher took the loss, allowing three earned runs on six hits in four innings, striking out two
