Hartsville, S.C.----Coker University outscored visiting Wingate University 21-13 in the third quarter Wednesday night, overcoming a 12-point first half deficit to prevail 68-64 in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action. Coker improves to 4-8 overall and 4-7 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 4-7 overall and 4-6 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER

- A layup and two free throws from Saylor gave Wingate an early 6-0 lead
- Raya Coley's layup at the midway point pulled Coker to within two at 8-6
- Buckets from Hatfield and Ashley Breindl put the 'Dogs back on top by six
- Avahna Baker's layup with 2:09 left made it a two-point game
- Jaeda Scott made it 14-10 with a layup, but two Haley McClure free throws in the final seconds made it 14-12

SECOND QUARTER

- Wingate scored 12 of the first 14 points in the second frame
- Troutman scored the first five, while Wilson's triple made it 24-14
- Wilson's layup with 5:25 left put the Bulldogs on top by 12
- Coker scored the next 10, cutting the lead to two on a Coley three-point play with 1:48 left
- A three and a layup from Hatfield put the 'Dogs on top 31-26
- Emily Davis's free throw pulled Coker within four heading to halftime

THIRD QUARTER

- A Davis triple pulled the Cobras within two in the opening minutes
- Ilene Hurley's layup gave Wingate a 35-30 advantage, but another Davis bucket tied it with 6:42 left
- An Aliyah Whiteside layup put the 'Dogs on top by four at the midway point
- Coker used an 11-1 run to take a 46-40 lead on Baker's bucket with 2:52 remaining
- Buckets from Hatfield and Destiny Coleman pulled the 'Dogs within four at 48-44 heading to the fourth

FOURTH QUARTER

- Troutman's layup at the 6:18 mark made it a one-point game
- Davis knocked down a triple with 5:20 remaining to put the Cobras on top 54-48
- Wingate countered with an 8-1 run to retake the lead
- Wilson started it with a layup, while back-to-back Troutman layups pulled WU within one
- It was a Wilson layup with 2:56 left that gave the 'Dogs a 56-55 advantage
- Troutman's layup 30 seconds later gave Wingate a three-point lead
- A Coley jumper and two McClure free throws put Coker back on top by two with a minute left
- Troutman's free throw pulled the 'Dogs back within a point, but Coker made four straight free throws
- Hatfield buried a triple with seven seconds to go to pull the Bulldogs within two
- Coley and Davis made all four free throws in the final seconds to secure the Coker victory
