Soren Nygaard netted a pair of goals Saturday night, leading the Bulldogs to a 2-0 victory over Tusculum University in South Atlantic Conference men's soccer action at Pride Park. Wingate improves to 6-6-1 overall and 4-4-1 in SAC play, while the Pioneers fall to 1-9-2 overall and 0-7-2 in league play.

- Monteiro played it to Nygaard to set up the eventual game-winner
- Tusculum's best chance came in the 84th minute, as Bergendorff made a diving save and the Pioneer rebound sailed high
- Nygaard iced the result with an 89th minute goal on a through ball from Corpuz
