Pembroke, N.C.-----Four Wingate University Bulldogs scored in double figures went on the road and picked up their first victory of the season 66-59 at UNC Pembroke in Division II women's basketball action Saturday afternoon. The 'Dogs improve to 1-1 overall, while the Braves fall to 1-1.

- Kelci Adams' 3-pointer gave the Braves their first lead of the game
- Capped a UNCP 14-6 run
- A Brandon 3-pointer regained the lead for Wingate
- The 'Dogs would not surrender the lead for the remainder of the game
- Brandon's pair of free throws extended a run to 12-3 to make it 30-22
