Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs held Newberry College to 32 percent shooting from the field and 22 percent from 3-point range, rolling to a 79-52 victory in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate improves to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, while Newberry falls to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in league play.
