Anderson, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs had five different players score in double figures Wednesday night, picking up a big 76-69 victory at Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action. Wingate improves to 9-6 overall and 9-6 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 5-8 overall and 5-8 in league play.

FIRST HALF
- A Joseph Staton triple gave Anderson an 11-8 lead five minutes in
- A Crosby James dunk put the Trojans on top by five at the 13:12 mark
- Sio answered with a triple to pull the 'Dogs within two
- A Tucker three and Sio layup put Wingate on top 18-17 at the midway point
- A 9-0 WU run gave the Bulldogs an eight-point lead with under eight minutes to go
- Wilson's three-point play started the flurry, while Pringle scored the next six to make it 28-20
- Wilson's layup and Clark's free throw pushed the Wingate advantage to nine with 5:57 left
- A 7-0 run gave the Bulldogs a 13-point lead
- Priest started the spurt with a three-point play; Clark capped it with back-to-back layups to make it 38-25
- A Mack Burgett bucket with 1:37 left pulled AU within 10 at 41-31 heading to halftime
SECOND HALF
- A James triple five minutes in pulled Anderson within four at 47-43
- Back-to-back Clark layups pushed the Wingate lead back to eight at the 14:46 mark
- James hit another three to make it 51-46, but the 'Dogs scored the answered with a 13-2 run
- A Wilson three and Cottingham layup started the spurt, a Sio triple and Wilson layup made it 64-48
- A James layup at the 5:06 mark pulled the Trojans within eight at 68-60
- Cottingham's layup pushed the Wingate lead back to double figures
- A Burgett jumper and Alex Keel free throw cut the lead to three at 72-69 with 40 seconds left
- A Pringle offensive rebound and two free throws gave the 'Dogs a five-point lead with 11 seconds to go
- Two more Tucker free throws preserved the Bulldog victory
