Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs scored five times in the bottom of the seventh and final innings in game one of Sunday's South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader, erasing a 5-1 deficit to prevail 6-5 over Queens University at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. The Royals bounced back to win the finale 9-1, but the 'Dogs won three out of four in the weekend series after sweeping Saturday's doubleheader. Wingate moves to 4-1 overall and 3-1 in the SAC, while Queens moves to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in league play.
