Dahlonega, Ga.----The second-ranked University of North Georgia Nighthawks moved to 10-0 on the season, sweeping a doubleheader against visiting Wingate University in NCAA Division II softball action Sunday afternoon. Wingate falls to 5-7 on the season.

- Kramer's RBI single plated Polk to get Wingate on the board
- An RBI single from Margaret Simmons in the bottom of the frame put North Georgia back on top by five
WRAPUP
- Abbie Crawford got the win, moving to 2-0
- She allowed a run on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings, striking out one and walking one

- She struck out seven in 3 2/3, allowing four earned runs on four hits

- She tossed five shutout innings, allowing one hit while striking out four
- Kale took the loss, allowing two runs on a hit in one-third of an inning
