Charlotte, N.C.----The 17th-ranked Queens University Royals scored the last six goals of the game Wednesday night, rallying for a 13-12 overtime victory against #6 Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action. Queens improves to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the SAC, while the 'Dogs fall to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in league play.

FIRST PERIOD
- Riley, Vodovnik and Grieco scored to give WU a 3-0 lead seven minutes in
- A Callin Harris goal pulled QU within one, but a Fleming goal put the 'Dogs on top 4-2
SECOND PERIOD
- A pair of Riley goals, along with goals from Vodovnik and Padden made it 8-3 with 5:21 left
- Quinn Tallant scored twice in the final two minutes for the Royals to cut the WU lead to three
THIRD PERIOD
- Two Fleming goals along with a Piazza goal in a four-minute span stretched the lead to 11-6
- Austin Leonard scored with 3:10 remaining to make it 11-7 heading to the final frame
FOURTH PERIOD
- Padden scored three minutes in off a Grieco assist to put the Bulldogs on top 12-7
- That was Wingate's final goal of the night
- Queens struck twice in 14 seconds to make it 12-9
- Leonard scored with 5:50 left to make it 12-10
- Tallant scored with 42 seconds remaining in regulation to tie it at 12 and send it to overtime
