Columbus, Ga.----The 14th-ranked Columbus State University Cougars picked up a 5-2 victory over #13 Wingate University Saturday afternoon in NCAA Division II women's tennis action. CSU improves to 5-3 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 5-1 on the season.

SINGLES
- Gunfaus prevailed 6-3, 6-1 at number three singles
- Guidantoni picked up a 6-4, 7-6 victory at five singles
- Bompieri fought back after a 6-1 set one loss at two doubles to win set two 7-6 before falling 6-4 in the third
- Wood dropped a tight 7-6 first set at four singles, then lost set two 6-2
