Pembroke, N.C.----The UNC Pembroke Braves scored a pair of runs in the first inning Wednesday night and held on for a 2-1 victory over visiting Wingate University in NCAA Division II baseball action. UNCP improves to 12-5 overall while the Bulldogs fall to 10-6 on the season.
