Bulldogs plate 22 runs in doubleheader sweep at Coker

Hartsville, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs scored double-digit runs in both games Saturday afternoon, rolling to a doubleheader sweep at Coker University in South Atlantic Conference baseball action. Wingate won the opener 12-4, while prevailing 10-4 in the second game to improve to 12-6 overall and 9-4 in the SAC. The Cobras fall to 7-12 overall and 5-9 in league play.

- The 'Dogs had five of the eight extra-base hits; each team had a homer
- The Bulldogs registered four doubles in game one

SEVENTH INNING

- Wingate added two more runs in the final frame
- Simpson was hit by a pitch, then stole second
- He scored on an RBI double from Williams-Rhem to make it 11-4
