Blackley and Lambillotte lead the way in 3-0 win at Anderson

Anderson, S.C.----Wingate University junior outside hitters Reese Blackley and Molly Lambillotte combined for 23 kills Friday night, leading the Bulldogs to a 3-0 victory at Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-20 to move to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in the SAC. The Trojans fall to 0-2 overall and 0-2 in league play.

"Tonight we executed really well in every aspect our game. I am so proud of how well-prepared we were and how calm we stayed in our first away match with this team. Every player did their job tonight and followed our game plan and this was a great win for us."

- Lambillotte's kill put the Bulldogs on top 11-5
- A Regan Duty kill pulled Anderson to within three at 12-9
- The 'Dogs scored the next seven to take a 19-9 lead
- Schaff and Blackley each had a kill in the spurt; Young added a block

- Noelle Knutsen's kill pulled the Trojans back within three at 19-16

- A Young kill and Schaff block gave Wingate a 7-5 advantage in set three
