Wingate, N.C.----Cameron Carraway and Michael Dansky connected on seventh-inning homers for Wingate University in game two of a South Atlantic Conference baseball doubleheader Saturday evening, leading the Bulldogs to a 4-2 victory in game two against Lincoln Memorial University. The Railsplitters prevailed 9-4 in game one. Wingate moves to 7-5 overall and 5-5 in the SAC, while LMU goes to 6-8 overall and 5-5 in league play.

- A Ryan Kurth RBI single and Tyler Adams RBI double highlighted a three-run fourth
- Wingate scored twice in the bottom of the frame
- Motsinger started the rally with a single, followed by a walk
- Mellett's sacrifice fly plated Motsinger
- Dula's RBI single made it 7-4

SEVENTH INNING

- A two-run single from Brandon Parrott put the Railsplitters on top by five

WRAPUP

- Evan Porter got the win, moving to 3-0
- He allowed four runs on six hits in seven innings, striking out six and walking one
- David Nash took the loss, falling to 2-2, allowing six runs on seven hits in three innings, striking out three

- The junior allowed just one hit while moving to 1-1 on the year
- Callari struck out six in 6 2/3 innings, allowing just one earned run on three hits
- Alex Brewer took the loss, allowing three runs on two hits in 6 1/3 innings
