Wingate plates 31 runs in doubleheader sweep at Anderson

Anderson, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs piled up 29 hits and 31 runs Monday afternoon, rolling to a pair of dominant victories at Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference baseball action. Wingate won the opener 9-0, while cruising to a 22-7 victory in game two to improve to 25-11 overall and 20-10 in the SAC. The Trojans fall to 12-20 overall and 10-16 in league play. The 'Dogs piled up 48 runs in the four-game series, taking three out of four against the Trojans.
