Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs have now scored at least nine runs in each of the last four games, scoring 17 unanswered runs Wednesday night in a 17-3 victory over Lander University in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium. Wingate has now scored 60 runs over its last four games, improving to 26-11 overall, while Lander falls to 16-17 on the year.

THIRD INNING
- The 'Dogs scored nine times in the third inning
- A walk, McNeely single and hit batsman loaded the bases
- Bryant drew a bases-loaded walk, while a Christopher two-run single gave WU a 5-3 advantage
- Two Lander errors and a Guy RBI single led to three more runs to give the 'Dogs a five-run lead
- McNeely drew a bases-loaded walk, followed by a Dula two-run double to make it 11-3
FIFTH INNING
- Guy and Mellett drew walks to start the frame
- Both would come around to score on errors to give Wingate a 13-3 advantage
EIGHTH INNING
- Two hit batsmen and a Williams-Rhem single loaded the bases for the Bulldogs
- Mellett's sacrifice fly put the 'Dogs on top by 11
- An RBI groundout from
Kell Smith plated the 15th run of the night for Wingate
