Wingate, N.C.----Five different Bulldogs scored in double figures Wednesday night, as Wingate University rolled to an 84-68 victory over visiting Coker University in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate has won five straight and eight of its last nine, improving to 16-4 overall and 12-4 in the SAC. The Cobras fall to 4-14 overall and 4-11 in league play.

FIRST HALF
- The Bulldogs jumped out to a 15-4 lead just over five minutes in
- Cottingham had 10 of those points, capping it with a three-point play
- Zavier Measmer hit a three to pull the Cobras within six
- Wingate scored the next nine, getting threes from Nixon and Wilson to take a 24-9 lead
- Tyler Thomas pulled the Cobras back within 11 at the 8:36 mark
- WU scored the next 12 points, with Clark and Wilson contributing five points each in the spurt to make 38-15
- Coker scored the next seven, holding Wingate scoreless for over four minutes to cut the lead to 16
- A layup and two free throws from Cottingham put Wingate on top 42-22 with a minute left
- Demar Anderson's three in the final minute cut the lead to 17 at halftime
SECOND HALF
- A Chris Fordham layup pulled Coker within 11 at the 16:21 mark
- A layup and two free throws from Pringle gave WU a 54-39 lead
- Pringles dunk at the 12:44 mark pushed the advantage to 17
- A Williams Onyeodi bucket with nine minutes left trimmed the deficit back to 12
- The 'Dogs scored the next nine points, getting an Elmore three and two Pringle dunks to take a 72-51 lead
- Another Wilson three at the 5:44 mark gave the Bulldogs a 23-point advantage
- The lead never went below 16 the rest of the way
