Harrogate, Tenn. ---- The 23rd-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs set a new NCAA program record on Saturday afternoon with their 18th consecutive win, picking up an 81-57 victory at Lincoln Memorial University in South Atlantic Conference women's basketball action in B. Frank Turner Arena. The Bulldogs improve to 18-1 overall and 16-0 in the SAC, while LMU falls to 8-9 overall and 6-8 in league play.

- Wingate shot 57 percent from the field; Lincoln Memorial shot 46 percent
- The Bulldogs were eight-of-16 (50 percent) from beyond the three-point line; the Railsplitters were 10-of-21 (48 percent) from deep

SECOND QUARTER
- Wilson knocked down a three 30 seconds into the quarter for Wingate
- LMU answered with a 7-0 run to take its first lead of the afternoon
- Lauren Flowers' and-one basket gave the 'Splitters a 23-20 lead with 6:30 left in the half
- After an LMU 3-pointer broke up a tie ballgame, the 'Dogs answered with the next five points
- A Lexi Kiser jumper re-tied the score at 31 with 41 seconds to go

Madison Lowery's triple with 22 seconds remaining in the half proved to be the difference in the first-half scoring as the Bulldogs took a 34-31 lead into the halftime locker room
THIRD QUARTER
- Troutman opened the second half with a jumper to give the Bulldogs a five-point lead
- LMU answered with back-to-back triples to take the lead once again
- Clark responded with a three of her own to put the 'Dogs on top 39-37
- After the Railsplitters tied the game at 41, WU scored the next five points, to which LMU scored five of the next six points
- Wingate closed the third quarter on a 10-0 run, as Sullivan's three in the closing seconds gave the 'Dogs a 57-46 lead
FOURTH QUARTER
- Lincoln Memorial opened the quarter with a bucket, cutting the deficit to single digits
- Wingate responded with the next 16 points, as the 'Dogs went on a 26-2 run dating back to the third quarter
- Troutman had nine points in the flurry, with Brandon adding five points in the game-changing four-minute spurt
- Clark's jumper with 5:07 remaining gave WU a 75-50 lead
- LMU answered with a three, but the lead never got below 20 points
