Baltimore, Md.----Playing their second top-five opponent in as many weeks, the second-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs trimmed a nine-goal deficit to three in the fourth period, but top-ranked and defending national champion LeMoyne held on for a 15-11 victory in NCAA Division II men's lacrosse action. The Dolphins move to 1-0 on the season, while the 'Dogs fall to 2-1 overall.

- A Carter Collins goal gave LeMoyne a 2-0 lead five minutes in
- Padden scored off a Grieco assist to cut the lead in half at the 8:08 mark

- Natoli's goal with 1:39 left pulled WU within two
- Collins scored with 16 seconds left to make it 5-2
SECOND PERIOD
- Grieco scored twice in the first half of the second period to make it 6-4a
- The Dolphins scored the last four goals of the half, with McCreary's goal at the three-minute mark making it 10-4
THIRD PERIOD
- LeMoyne's run continued, scoring the first three of the third frame to make it 13-4 at the 11:02 mark
- Vodovnik scored off a Grieco assist with 8:27 to go
- Cottage scored off Vodovnik's assist at the 6:19 mark to make it 13-6
FOURTH PERIOD
- Vodovnik scored twice in a 26-second span to pull the 'Dogs within five
- A McCreary goal put LeMoyne on top 14-8 with 12:15 remaining
- Grieco scored to cut the lead back to five
- Padden and Vodovnik scored in a 21-second span to make it 14-11 with nine minutes left
- Colin Spyek capped the scoring on the day with a goal at the 7:34 mark
