Wingate, N.C. —- The Wingate University Bulldogs used three pitchers Wednesday afternoon who combined to allow just two runs in 14 innings of work, with each pitcher connecting on a homer as the 'Dogs outscored the Francis Marion Patriots 15-1 on the day in NCAA Division II softball action at the WU Softball Complex. Wingate improves to 11-3 on the season, while the Patriots fall to 8-8.
