Mount Olive, N.C.----Wingate University junior
Danielle Kirchhofer blasted a go-ahead three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning in game two of an NCAA Division II softball doubleheader at the University of Mount Olive Thursday evening, giving the Bulldogs a 5-4 victory in game two as the 'Dogs salvaged a split against the Trojans. Mount Olive prevailed 4-3 in eight innings in the opener. Wingate moves to 13-4 overall, while the Trojans go to 10-2 on the season.
