Wingate, N.C.----The 18th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs won the doubles point against #13 Columbus State University Friday afternoon, but the Cougars went 4-2 in singles play to prevail 4-3 in NCAA Division II women's tennis action. The CSU improves to 7-4 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 4-5 on the season.

- Kosmrlj lost set one 6-4 at two singles, then won 7-5 in set two before falling 6-3 in the third
- The Cougars added wins at one, three and five singles to clinch the victory
