Franklin Springs, Ga.----The top-ranked Wingate University finished off another weekend sweep Sunday afternoon, prevailing 6-2 in 11 innings at Emmanuel College in NCAA Division II baseball action. Wingate improves to 23-3 overall, while the Lions fall to 11-18 on the season. The Bulldogs have won 36 of their last 41 games dating back to last season.

- Bryant laid down a sacrifice bunt, with the throw going into right field allowing both runners to score

- King followed with an RBI triple to put the 'Dogs on top by four

- He allowed just one hit in 2 1/3 innings, striking out six
- The redshirt freshman has two wins and a save on the year, striking out 21 in 9 2/3 innings
- Trey Campbell got the loss, allowing three runs on three hits in an inning
