Wingate, N.C.----The sixth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs tallied 10 of the first 11 goals Wednesday afternoon, cruising to an 18-5 win over visiting Catawba College in South Atlantic Conference men's lacrosse action at Graham Gill Field. Wingate improves to 8-2 overall and 5-1 in the SAC, while the Indians drop to 2-6 overall and 2-2 in league play.

FIRST PERIOD
- Vodovnik scored 22 seconds into the game to give Wingate a lead it would control the rest of the way
- Lingasin and Natoli each added a score in the next six minutes
- Catawba got on the board at the 3:19 mark
- Wingate responded with scores from Kotcamp, Karnich and Grieco in the following 49 seconds
- Riley took advantage of a man-down Catawba defense in the last two minutes to give the 'Dogs a 7-1 lead
SECOND PERIOD
- Padden started the scoring five minutes into the second period
- Lingasin and Natoli scored back-to-back for the second time of the game to extend the Bulldogs' advantage to nine scores
- The Indians' Jordan Dash scored, cutting the halftime deficit to 10-2
THIRD PERIOD
- Vodovnik started the second half in a similar way to the first, scoring 36 seconds in
- Catawba scored its third goal of the game at the 11:01 mark via man-up opportunity
- Lingasin and
Collin Fleming each scored the rest of the way as Wingate began slowing the pace
FOURTH PERIOD
- Catawba's Jordan Dash scored two and a half minutes in to start the fourth period scoring
- Vodovnik and Samson tallied goals 37 seconds apart from each other, making it 15-4
- Dash scored Catawba's final goal of the game at the 10:56 mark
- The Indians' five goals is tied for the fewest Wingate has allowed this season
- Grieco,
