Sumter, S.C.----The second-seeded and 14th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs went 4-2 in singles play Friday afternoon, rallying for a 4-3 victory over third-seeded and 14th-ranked Carson-Newman University in the semifinals of the 2022 South Atlantic Conference women's tennis tournament. The 'Dogs win their 11th straight match, improving to 16-6 overall and advancing to Saturday's SAC title match.
DOUBLES
- The Eagles won 6-2 at two doubles and 6-3 at three doubles

Suzuka Sambyakugari were up 5-4 at one doubles when the point was clinched
- Carson-Newman took a 1-0 lead into singles play
