Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs could not overcome three first-half turnovers Saturday afternoon, falling 17-10 against Limestone University in South Atlantic Conference football action. Limestone moves to 4-3 overall and 4-1 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER
- Bentley hit Estranza for a 44-yard pass, but a fumble at the 10 gave Limestone the ball at the one
- The Saints went 99 yards on 18 plays, converting two third downs and a fourth down
- Dustin Noller hit Jelani Baker for an eight-yard touchdown to make it 7-0
SECOND QUARTER
- Morrison picked off Noller at the Limestone 25 with 1:36 to go in the half
- Wingate scored on a three-play drive to tie it
- Bentley's 12-yard run got it to the Limestone one
- Barnett punched it in on the next play to make it 7-7 heading to halftime
THIRD QUARTER
- The Saints scored on their opening drive of the second half to regain the lead
- A Daniel Dereen 43-yard field goal made it 10-7 with 13:21 to go
- Limestone added a 53-yard scoring drive to go on top by 10 later in the frame
- A Preston Lounds four-yard TD run capped the drive to make it 17-7 with 6:03 to go
FOURTH QUARTER
- Wingate cut it to a one-score deficit early in the fourth
- Wilson's 21-yard run started the drive to get it to the LU 45
- Bentley then hit McCray for 40 yards to set up a first and goal from the five
- The 'Dogs had the settle for a
Caleb Bonesteel 25-yard field goal to make it 17-10 with 10:14 left
- With four minutes to go, Bentley hit Jones for 33 yards to get it to the Limestone 22
- A penalty sent WU back 10 yards, and the 'Dogs could not convert the fourth down with 1:07 left
- Limestone was able to run the clock out to preserve the win
