‘Dogs down Trojans in SAC showdown to push winning streak to 11

Wingate, N.C.----In a matchup of two teams riding 10-match winning streaks, the Wingate University Bulldogs bounced back from an opening-set loss, prevailing 3-1 against Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate won by scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-17 and 26-24 to improve to 20-2 overall and 12-1 in the SAC. The Trojans fall to 21-4 overall and 13-2 in the SAC, seeing their 10-match win streak come to an end. Wingate has now won 11 straight.

- Wingate had 60 kills and 18 errors in 153 attacks, hitting .275
- Anderson had 53 kills and 27 errors in 174 swings to hit .149
