Emory, Va.----The Wingate University Bulldogs shook off an opening-set loss Friday night, prevailing 3-1 at Emory & Henry in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 19-25, 25-13, 25-22 and 25-15 to improve to 25-2 overall and 17-1 in the SAC. The 'Dogs wrap up the regular season with 16 straight wins, claiming the outright regular season SAC title. Wingate has won 17 of the last 18 regular season SAC championships. Emory & Henry falls to 10-18 overall and 6-12 in league play.
