Savanna Brooks grand slam highlights day one split at Panther Invitational

Longwood, Fla.----Savanna Brooks blasted a grand slam to lead Wingate University to a 7-2 victory over Florida Tech in the second game of the day for the Bulldogs in NCAA Division II softball action. Wingate lost the opener of the Panther Invitational 4-3 against Embry-Riddle, with the Eagles scoring three runs in the final frame. The Bulldogs improve to 3-1 on the season.
