Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs stayed perfect at home Saturday afternoon, piling up 36 runs to sweep a doubleheader against visiting Chowan University in NCAA Division II softball action. Wingate won the opener 20-2, while taking the second game 16-1, with both games ending in five innings. The 'Dogs improve to 8-4 overall, while the Hawks fall to 2-4 on the season.
