What They Are Saying
Wingate senior student-athlete
Danielle Crawford
"After not competing since the VMI meet in January, due to an injury, I was very nervous entering this meet. I was not expecting a personal-best mark in either event. I had a massive PR in the weight throw Saturday and I knew I was ready to come into the shot put today. Wingate swept the podium in the shot put and I am so unbelievably happy!"
Â
"This weekend at the SAC championships was an amazing experience. Every single person on this team worked extremely hard all season long to make it to this day. As for the throwers, I could not be prouder of them! Each and every one of us had great throws and great competition. After a long and grueling season, I'm proud today that each and every one of the throwers came into that competition ready to win and that's exactly what we did."Â Â
Â
Wingate graduate student-athlete
 Lauryn Tumey Ursery
"This was a great weekend for the Bulldogs. The team really came together and I had the best time running with my friends and having the support all around me. I am so happy to see how far this team has come and how far they will go. As this is my last indoor race for Wingate, I was very happy to finish with an individual win and a team win."
