Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs were dominant Saturday afternoon, rolling to a pair of emphatic victories over first-place Catawba in South Atlantic Conference baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Wingate won the opener 12-1, while prevailing 7-0 in game two to improve to 20-11 overall and 10-5 in the SAC while the Indians fall to 19-13 overall and 9-3 in league play.
