Wingate, N.C.----The #15 Wingate University Bulldogs claimed a share of the regular season SAC title Sunday afternoon, prevailing 4-2 over #35 Anderson University in South Atlantic Conference women's tennis action. Wingate improves to 16-3 overall and 11-1 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 14-4 overall and 9-3 in league play. The Bulldogs have now won 11 of the last 12 regular season SAC titles, going 125-4 in league play during that time.
