Wingate, N.C.----The second-seeded and 21st-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs went 1-1 on day two of the South Atlantic Conference baseball tournament at Ron Christopher Stadium Saturday, advancing to play Sunday afternoon. Wingate dropped a 2-1 contest against LMU in the opener before rolling to a 14-5 win over Anderson in an elimination game. The Bulldogs will face LMU Sunday at 3 p.m. With a win, the 'Dogs and Railsplitters would meet for one more game Sunday with the winner advancing to next week's championship series.
