Weather delays round two finish for No. 14 Wingate at the NCAA South Regional

Gainesville, Ga.----The No. 14 Wingate University women's golf team did not complete its second round of the 2023 NCAA Division II South Regional at the Chattahoochee Golf Club Tuesday. The Bulldogs and five other teams will finish round two via a shotgun start Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. The entire 12-team field will start round three at 10:30 a.m., again with a shotgun start.
 
Wingate, Barry, Flagler, Lander, Limestone and UNC Pembroke will get early wake-up calls Wednesday, thanks to Tuesday afternoon's inclement weather. Bulldog senior Hailey McLaughlin has four birdies through 12 holes Tuesday, while classmate Mary Ma carded two birdies through 14 holes. The University of North Georgia and the Greater Gainesville Sports Alliance (GGSA) are hosting this year's event.
