Mount Olive, N.C.----The seventh-ranked University of Mount Olive Trojans scored a pair of goals in the third quarter Wednesday afternoon, prevailing 3-2 against Wingate University in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action. The Trojans improve to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 2-2 overall and 2-1 in league play.

THIRD QUARTER
- After a scoreless second quarter, the Trojans took the lead five minutes into the third
- Avery Congleton scored off Amber Dercksen's assist to put UMO on top 2-1
- The Bulldogs had the answer five minutes later, tying it at two
- Schrijvers did the damage once again, scoring her fifth goal of the year
- It came off a Derouaux assist to make it 2-2 with 20 minutes left in regulation
