Emory, Va.----The Wingate University Bulldogs forced four turnovers Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 31-10 victory at Emory & Henry College in South Atlantic Conference football action. Wingate improves to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the SAC, while the Wasps fall to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in league play.

FIRST QUARTER
- Morrison forced a fumble on Emory & Henry's second drive, with Mullen recovering just outside the red zone
- Bonesteel connected on a 34-yard field goal to get the Bulldogs on the board
- Wingate went 75 yards in three plays to take a 10-point lead
- Bentley hit
Trevor Grant for 19 yards to start the drive
- Barnett followed with an 18-yard run
- On the next play, Barnett hit Jones for a 38-yard touchdown to make it 10-0 at the 5:23 mark
- Trace Butcher hit a 37-yard field goal to get the Wasps on the board with 1:38 to go
SECOND QUARTER
- The Bulldogs scored on their opening drive of the second quarter to extend the lead
- Siemer broke through for a 40-yard run to get it to the E&H 25
- Siemer punched it in from five yards out to make it 17-3
- The Wingate defense added another score to push the advantage to 21
- On third and three, Mosely picked off E&H QB Kyle Short and returned it 57 yards for a TD
- The pick-six made it 24-3 with 1:08 left
- The Wasps answered, getting a 43-yard touchdown run from J'Quan Anderson to make it 24-10
THIRD QUARTER
- Wingate went on a five-play, 64-yard TD drive midway through the quarter
- Bentley hit
Evan McCray for 11 yards for a first down at midfield
- Bentley found Jones open behind the defense for a 42-yard strike to make it 31-10 with 6:30 to go
- The Wasps got to the WU 19, but a Mullen interception ended the drive
FOURTH QUARTER
- Emory & Henry got it to the Wingate 27 with five minutes left
- Henderson picked off a pass at the eight to get it back to the Bulldogs
