Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs picked up another impressive victory Saturday afternoon, notching their third shutout of the week with a 3-0 victory over Limestone University in South Atlantic Conference field hockey action. The 'Dogs avenge their lone loss of the season, moving to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the SAC, while the Saints fall to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in league play.

KEY BULLDOGS

- Rylie Cordrey scored both Wingate goals
- Audra Szymborski piled up seven saves for her third shutout of the week

FIRST HALF

- Wingate took four of the six shots in the opening 30 minutes
- Neither team was able to score in the first half

THIRD QUARTER

- Wingate got on the board seven minutes into the second half
- Cordrey ripped home her fifth goal of the year to put the 'Dogs on top 1-0

FOURTH QUARTER

- Cordrey struck again with just over five minutes left in the final quarter
- Her second of the day and sixth of the year gave the Bulldogs a two-goal cushion
- The 'Dogs had to fend off six Limestone corners in a one-minute span
- Szymborski piled up four saves in the key stretch, keeping the Saints off the board
