Wingate, N.C.----The Tusculum University Pioneers outscored Wingate University 57-44 in the second half Saturday afternoon, rallying for a 96-84 victory in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Tusculum moves to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in league play.

- Tusculum shot 57 percent from the field, going 12-for-27 from three-point range (44 percent)
- Wingate shot 50 percent from the field, connecting on nine-of-24 from deep (38 percent)
- The Pioneers held a 34-25 rebounding advantage; the 'Dogs had a 16-12 edge in second-chance points
