Wingate clinches at least a share of SAC title with sweep at Newberry

Newberry, S.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs notched their 15th straight victory Saturday evening, cruising to a 3-0 victory at Newberry College in South Atlantic Conference volleyball action. Wingate won by scores of 25-11, 25-10 and 25-15 to improve to 23-2 overall and 15-1 in the SAC, while the Wolves fall to 7-13 overall and 4-11 in league play. Wingate has won 28 of its last 29 sets, while guaranteeing at least a share of the regular season SAC title for the 18th time in 19 seasons.
