Wingate, N.C.----The top-seeded Wingate University Bulldogs scored late in the first half Saturday evening, prevailing 1-0 over eighth-seeded Carson-Newman University in the quarterfinals of the 2024 South Atlantic Conference women's soccer tournament at Pride Park. The Bulldogs improve to 12-2-3 overall, advancing to Friday's SAC Tournament semifinals, while the Eagles fall to 6-7-3 on the year.
