Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University senior forward Kendall Taylor scored 27 of his 31 points in the second half Wednesday night, just missing his first career triple-double as the Bulldogs outscored Anderson University 53-35 in the second half to prevail 83-74 in South Atlantic Conference men's basketball action in Cuddy Arena. Wingate moves to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in the SAC, while the Trojans fall to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in league play.

- A layup from Sam Perez at the midway point gave Anderson a 24-10 lead
- Grant answered with back-to-back jumpers, while two Taylor free throws cut it to eight
- Caleb McAbee's layup with seven minutes left pushed the lead back to 14 at 32-18
- A Jaden Lingo triple and Grant dunk made it a nine-point game with 3:41 remaining
- Perez's layup in the final minute pushed the AU lead back to double digits

SECOND HALF
