Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs had six pitchers combined to allow just two runs Tuesday afternoon, prevailing 4-2 against Erskine College in NCAA Division II baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. Wingate moves to 3-4 on the year, while the Flying Fleet fall to 3-5 on the season.

- A Josean Sánch RBI single got Erskine on the board
- Clark drew a leadoff walk in the bottom of the frame, then went to third on McKay's double
- A sacrifice fly from Crevelt plated Clark to make it 4-1
WRAPUP
- Morgon got the win, moving to 1-0
- He tossed 2 1/3 shutout innings, allowing two hits while striking out three
- Barnett notched his first save of the year, allowing one run in the ninth
- Noah Palmese took the loss, allowing three runs on 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings
