Wingate, N.C.----The 15th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs jumped out to a 6-1 lead Wednesday afternoon, but 11th-ranked Rollins College used a 10-goal second quarter to prevail 16-15 in NCAA Division II women's lacrosse action at Irwin Belk Stadium. The Tars improve to 9-1 overall, while the Bulldogs fall to 6-3 on the season. All three Wingate losses this year have come against top-15 teams, with two coming by one goal.

- Rollins scored the next six goals, taking a 7-6 lead on back-to-back Caroline Gastonguay goals
- Wilgeroth scored with five minutes to go, tying it at seven
- Gastonguay put Rollins back on top, but Magill answered off a Millard assist to tie it at the 2:51 mark
- Rollins struck twice in the final 23 seconds, with a Lauren Noonan goal in the last second making it 10-8
THIRD QUARTER
- Knowles scored off Wilgeroth's assist three minutes in to cut the lead to one
- Knowles struck again off a Millard assist at the 5:04 mark to tie it at 10
- Diedrich's goal off Millard's assist gave Wingate an 11-10 lead with 3:17 to go
