Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs blasted six homers Saturday afternoon, while allowing just one run in 16 innings of work to roll to a pair of wins over Mars Hill University in South Atlantic Conference baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium and Plyler Athletic Field. The Bulldogs won the opener 6-1, while rolling to a 10-0 victory in game two to improve to 18-10 overall and 9-4 in the SAC. The Lions fall to 10-19 overall and 3-11 in league play.
